Why We Need Sponsors

Each year, our chapter is assigned a new international project. These projects are meant to improve the lives of people in developing communities across the globe through sustainable engineering. Students dedicate a great deal of time and energy to finding a cost-effective solution to the given problem. Each summer, a travel team consisting of students and mentors travels to the project site to do evaluations and implement the project.

​As a501(c)3 non-profit organization, we depend on sponsors like you to help us successfully implement our project. This year our chapter needs to raise $35,000 in order to implement our water system in the community of El Carrizo, Honduras. Your donation goes directly to materials and ground expenses on-site. The travel team is obligated to pay their own travel expenses ensuring that your donation goes only towards helping the community.
